One thing I’d prefer to say is the fact that before getting more laptop memory, take a look at the machine directly into which it would be installed. Should the machine is running Windows XP, for instance, the memory threshold is 3.25GB. Using a lot more than this would merely constitute some sort of waste. Be sure that one’s mother board can handle the particular upgrade amount, as well. Interesting blog post.
